2109 vs 2110
Hi guys looking for some feedback on building a 2109 (76x94) or a 2110 (82x90.5) I like the sound of the 2109 as the stroke is shorter with less case
work.
Any body had experience with both? Engine is for a 71 super street car.

If your going to that trouble go 82 x 94
My mate has built several of these with great results
Effort and cost is in the fuel delivery
IDA or injection?

Thanks. It seems the more common combo. Injection would be nice but budget probably won't stretch. CB kits look good as do the weber kits but I
think I will stick with 44idf,s

shorter stroke is better less case work
BUT as per above you might as well go 82 x 94 you may need 48s to get the best out of it or injection which will cost around 5K

b pistons are shorter.for longer crank stroke..to keep the engine narrower and helps fit in std engine bay etc..other variables apply..if the
engine's cc is close regardless of crank pistons combo they will make similar power.id go 78 or 82 x94's.if its a street engine id use 44idfs.but
all depends on heads and cam etc etc.have a search around but dont get too confused and suked in by all the wank factors etc.it should be be a
relative easy decision on what size to go.dont get siked in by bug hp numbers either...

Either way you will most likely need B Pistons. Using A Pistons you might need to clearance the piston skirt. To a large extent it will also depend
on your rods as to how much clearance get you need to do. Longer stroke might also mean clearance get the cam.
But arguably the 90.5s run cooler?
Have a look at some build sheets / diaries (with photos) here or on the samba and you can get an idea of the work involved.
