Getting door hinges off. 1960 beetle

Hi all probably covered many times, I've wd40 the hinges hammered with a Phillips screw driver, I will heat after they come off .
But I'm looking to borrow or buy one of those hammer ratchets to get the screws loose? Any suggestions ?
Or other ways?

Cheers Brendon

Pity you lost my phone #. :smirk:

Yea, an air ratchet gun normally does the trick so an impact driver in reverse should work too. The hand held impact driver that you twat with a lump hammer needs to be a good quality one cos the Supershite ones may loosen a hinge before being a paperweight :)

I've got the vice grips on the screwdriver, and turned it while bashing the end of the screw driver - got a few out - the rest i drilled and used an 'Easy-Out'

Good job :) One of those impact screwdrivers sure work well if not a Supershite cheapo :)
