Type 3 Squareback windows

Hey all, just in the process of trying to find a type3 square back and was wondering if anyone knows what year the passenger window changed from the pop outs to the fixed version . Have seen pop outs on all the older versions (pre 70's ?), but have seen both styles of windows in the later shape model . thanks for any input , Will

I am not sure of the exact year change but I think it may only be the first years of production.

1961-1964? , fairly old and rare.

I thought 69 and 70 model even if the car has sealed windows if you pop them out they have the correct b-piller for pop outs windows.
I could be wrong but this is a start any way.

PASSENGER WINDOW???? Do you mean rear seat passenger windows??

Up to 1971 in all Squares. After that ( 1972 on ) the slots in the B pillar were there in the Squares but not the actual hinge piece. If popouts are to be fitted the hinges have to be sourced from an earlier model

Notches had popouts to 1963 here but local production dropped them. To fit them in 1964 on they have to have hinges put in as the late Squares as only the slots are in the B pillars. Imported Notch S had them to 1965. Not sure if Germany retained them to later years.

To save much typing have a look here:
