I certainly believe parts of it are, but possibly not as bad as in the US

Timely Greg- I saw on the news here yesterday that somebody was successful in court when they challenged the accuracy of a hand held radar gun- the cash cow for state authorities.Bet more challenges will surface now. I recently got done for doing 71 in a 60 zone on a 3 lane main road. I saw the flash,so did a u turn and went back- yes a fixed gun, the speed change sign from 70 down to 60 was there,but was only visible when adjacent to it-too many bushy trees just before it. It's blatant revenue raising.$ 400 would have been better spent on one of my VW bombs.
