How to price stuff?

Hey all, how do you price stuff? I'm going to have a set of four 15" wide 5's available without tyres when I get some new wider boots for my 66 project. They'll need a good clean up but in good condition.

Do you just check Gumtree and ebay and see what others are asking?

Correct. Walk the swap meets - but they are getting fewer

Sites like http://www.thesamba.com  give a good idea what things are worth in the US
Add shipping and it gives you a guide

A lot of stuff is available after market but original is better

We don't have swap meets here in Kalgoorlie for VW stuff. It's all knuckle draggers up here!

I assume that 15's are worth more than 14's?

yeah 14's are a modified rim, and where popular at one stage (80's), but good condition originals are getting harder to find......but price can vary greatly as well.
