| Replace indicator stalks

Pulled the indicator stalks and switches out of 73 beetle and found the plastic is brittle and cracked.
Two options, buy new vw replacements or adapt another cars units (eg Ford ,Holden etc)
Any views on which would be the easiest and cheapest??
 Thanks

Just buy new ones from one of the reputable VW parts suppliers around. MUCH easier to fit, and not expensive

Buy a VW one as it will take you hours to make the other brand actually fit then the wiring will be different
