I am going through all this now with my conversion, all pollution gear that came stock on the new motor must be fitted if fitted to a older vehicle. According to my engineer, in NSW too if that makes any difference



It will all be OK in the end, if it's not OK it's not the end!

Cheers but spoke to the engineer who's blue plating the baja and he reckons it's not needed :)

Why would you not just fit one? After market ones are cheap and they serve a good purpose.
