Historic rego Question (NSW)
Hi guys,
Sorry if this has been asked before.. I'm thinking about buying a 68 VW Beetle on NSW historic rego which is current, do I need a blue or pink slip
to register it normally? I ask because most clubs need you to be a member for a year before issuing a historic rego certificate. I'm hoping its just
a pink slip because it already has club rego but I could be mistaken. Can someone shed some light on this please.
Thanks.

Pink slip for Historic.
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!

For normal to historic ask the club. For historic to normal rego ask the RMS. simple.
I read it on samba, so it must be correct.
Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!

The Club Plates are not transferable Your purchasing a unregistered vehicle
To get full NSW registration you will need a Blue Slip
If you want Club Registration then you will have to join a Club first and then apply
The current owner of the vehicle has to return the Club Plates to the RMS and advise the Club of what has been done
