Crescent spreader lock washer on CVJ
Hi all,
Anyone know where I can buy the crescent shaped lock washer for a Beetle ('76 IRS 1600) locally. have found some site in the US and UK that have
them..but no luck locally....and am also after a couple of CVJ bolts.

Is that the 1/2 moon shaped spreader that fits between 2 bolts,if so there is also a lock washer under the bolt? If so i should be able to help,just

are You talking about the little ripple washers that fit under the bolt head??
I have read that in later models these weren't used. [ USA]
but they look pretty special to Me.. I've never ever seen any washer like those... and those CVJ bolts don't come loose....
