What tests have you had to do for VASS

Hi Guys (n Girls),

I was just wondering what tests/checks people have had to go through to get their vehicles engineered.

I'm in Victoria and am currently waiting for my Porsche powered kombi to arrive from the UK. When it arrives, I'll have to get a VASS before getting it registered and put on a M-plate.

I currently also have Alloy wheels, Porsche Boxster brakes up front, rear disc conversion.

I was chatting to a guy at work who told me that I may have to have a frame/chassis torsional and bending test.

I was wondering your thoughts on this and what actual tests you think I will have to satisfy for get my VASS.

Also be interested to know the mods you have done and what test were required for it to be engineered.

Cheers

NaFe

Don't bother asking for speculation mate, each and every engineer interprets the rules differently. Find one that isn't a dick and speak to them.

It will all be OK in the end, if it's not OK it's not the end!
