[SOLD] 1961 VW Splitscreen Ute $38000 ONO SOLD
Up for sale is my 1961 split screen ute. This thing is completely sorted and has been my daily driver the last 7 months...
Was once The Italian Job Automotives delivery truck, has some original sign write left but as I'm half
way through stripping the navy back it's not all there. Quite controversial I know but reason being is there is loads, about 80% original factory
dove blue paint underneath.
All rust has been done through out with only little spots being left in the gates for texture. Creative Engineering Safari Windows. 4.5" narrowed
Munster garage beam. Flipped spindles, raised steering box, tubbed in the front 2". 2.5" narrowed rear torsion housing with custom plates for the
straight axle 1500 beetle box (great highway gearing and will sit on 110 all day no problems! Rebuilt 1600 twin port, rebuilt brakes all round, near
new Flat 4 Enkei wheels with near new rubber all round.
This is a great ute with loads of character and is hard to drive anywhere without someone taking a photo or turning their head. It's currently
registered til the end of the year and is being driven every day, and considering the height because everything has been done correctly it drives
great and rides smooth with no problems at all! I'm negotiable for sure, so don't be afraid to throw me an offer, but if you know the market for a
sorted split screen whether it be ute, panel or window bus and whether it be a rat or restored, you'll know what I'm asking is fair and would
appreciate NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE. I've had countless people do this to me now, and would also appreciate strictly serious buyers and offers only.
