Club registration

Hi all
Just wanted to see if anyone on here has gone through the process of getting club registration in Melbourne. I will be getting a roadworthy for my Beetle soon but don't really think that I will be using it as a daily driver so it would be good to save some money on rego. If anyone can recommend a club that would be great.
Thanks!

Pretty sure you need to join a club for starters. Then show interest in events etc as its club rego for club stuff not so you can drive around when you want to and save some $.
Some clubs are fairly strict with this others not so.
But year join a club to start with. Mitch

Club membership is mandatory in Vic before you can get Club Permit Scheme registration. You also need to remember to keep your membership paid up because if it lapses, your car will be unregistered.
VWCV is a great Club and well worth joining if you are a VW enthusiast
