WTB running 1200 to 1600 motor
Does anyone have a 1200 to 1600cc motor to suit an early beetle/bus laying about. Complete and not too far from Ballina NSW. Just want to get my bus
mobile till I decide what engine will go in it. |

I have a perfectly good dual port 1600 that I just removed from my beetle. There was nothing wrong with it I just put in a 2276. It has single 34 pict
carb, vintage speed exhaust and good compression.

what model bus, marcov ??
I have a 2 L Datsun motor complete with adapter plate & starter also 1600 Kombi IRS and radiator hoses and pipes
came out of a 1600 Bay Kombi plus alternator and some exhaust items
will fit in any Bay Bus no cuts needed in early Bays
