T3 Transporter fresh air motor


Got this request on the Club VW website. Anybody have experience with the dash of T3 Kombis?

"I own a 1989 transporter T3 water cooled kombi. My problem is the fresh air, heater motor is not working could anyone advise me how to get to the motor i have removed the dash I can see where the wires go in but how in hell do you get into the plastic cover. would really appreciate some help."

The housing is heat welded together(some have clips), You will need to split it apart. The clips are available to put it back together afterwards.

I have an assy if he can't fix the old one, it has been standing for a few years and I will need to check that the motor still runs..
