Wanted:. Beetle gutter moulding

Hi all,
I have a 71 1302 Formula Vee car that's mostly original
It still wears most of it's extras, but is missing the gutter mouldings. The clips are still there.
I have no way of knowing if it originally had a plain chrome moulding or the checkered type shown on the orange car below.

Does anyone have a pair of mouldings of any type they with to sell? Due to the shape, SEQ location preferred :)

Thanks for replying.
I know it's a long shot, but no harm in asking :)
Someone, somewhere will have the checkered moulding collecting dust :)

Thanks for remembering I was looking for this.

I'm curious to know if that is the same as they used back in the 70's.
The size of the checkered squares looks bigger, and it looks very much like the cheap moulding available on the Aliexpress, DHGate, ebay etc..

I *think* the original was all metal, whereas the ones I can find nowadays have some plastic materials used in their construction.

Regardless, thanks for the phone number, I'll chase it up and report back! :)
