[FS - NSW] 1966 21 Window Deluxe Bus
1966 21 Window Deluxe LHD bus.
4-year full rotisserie restoration of a very solid original Californian bus. Parts sourced were largely original or NOS such as all the body trim,
original 1966 date stamped deluxe clock that keeps perfect time, speedo and gas gauge stamped 1966 as well.
Seat bases, jailbars in rear windows, new interior and headliner, fully restored sliding roof with original Goldie handle all perfect. All doors keyed
alike with original locks. The goal was to maintain the originality of the vehicle and the only deviation was conversion to 12 Volts for practicality.
Original radio refurbished, original dome light, gas cap and door handles.
All new rubber seals and floor mats. Refurbished steering wheel and horn button. Wiring as new. Body is absolutely straight with perfect gaps all
around and painted in the original Lotus White. It has safari front windows, 6 pop out windows with original glass. The bus accelerates, shifts,
drives and stops beautifully with no rattles and all steering and suspension componentry as new. The motor does not even leak a drop of oil.
All work was done by the best restoration experts irrespective of cost. I have been repeatedly told it is one of the best mostly original 21 window
busses anywhere in the world.
