vw mechanic

Hi all

I bought a beetle not long ago, and looking for a mechanic who familiar with air cooled vws. I live in Sydney east (Rose Bay), and tried a couple of workshops nearby but they asked a lot of money for poor service. Also it would be great to find "like-minded" people to meet around this area if there's any...
Thanks
Csaba.

Vintage Vee Dub Supplies is just near the M5.

I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!

Yea I got reply from village, they don't work on air cooled vws anymore and recommend wolfsburg motors in st Peters. Terrible feedback.
I'll try vintage.

Thanks.

Irrespective of where you go, I suggest getting a report on the car, including a quote to rectify the issues first. Even if it costs you an hours labour, this is better than a surprise invoice for work you didnt know was required or authorize.
