[FS - QLD] 1973 Dual Cab Project - SOLD
Posting this for a friend ...... I have no commercial or other interest ...... PLEASE direct all enquiries as requested in the contact details.
I can't believe I have had this project for 13yrs but due to a change in circumstances, time to sell.
I don't know what engine it has (was going to find out when it was reconditioned) but it is twin carb which is unusual as I thought all Utes were
single 1600. It drove into the back yard but won't start now. Engine not seized but will need some work to get it started (battery, fuel lines,
plugs, points, fuel pump etc most of which I have as spare parts). Ultimately it will need to be reconditioned due to oil leaks.
The original owner saw fit to put a split emblem on the front with a ridiculous number of holes but at least the small emblem holes are still
there.
I have had the upholstery done in a VW blue but haven't changed the interior cards.
The original gates and tray were rusty so I have a full set of Green panels ready to paint and fit.

I have been asked by the seller John to add the following -
NO LOW BALL OFFERS - INSPECTION A MUST BEFORE MAKING ANY OFFER.
With regards to the Green panels these are New KlassicFab funky green panels - Double Cab Load Bed (4 Piece Complete set) AND Double Cab Gates
(Complete Set of 3) ..... anyone doing a double cab restoration will know the quality of these parts and be aware of how hard they are to come buy and
how much they cost.

just an update for people on this after 6 months stale on here. I asked if there was any wriggle room or negotiable on price 2 days ago and it was a
pretty simple reply "no" so you may want to add "not negotiable" , "no offers" with the no lowball offers.
