[SOLD] [FS - NSW] 1975 1303 Super Beetle
Unfortunately circumstances mean I have to sell my beetle.
It was owned and built by a well known moderator of this site.
I purchased it 4 years ago from him.
It is not your standard super. It has had many things done to it and has been a daily driver for most of its life. It is also the rack and pinion
model so steers just like a new car.
I have used the information from when I bought it and added any extras that have been done since owning it.

1916 built by Peter Shelley originally with 40 x 35 heads
68 RWHP (CBB dyno) but we have tweaked since then - so guessing an honest 70 HP
Dual 40 DRLA Dellortos with update kit and CSP linkage
Ceramic coated side winder exhaust mated to flanged ceramic coated heater boxes
Magna Spark II electronic ignition
Suspension
poly bushings, ball joints through out done 4 years ago
V Force lowered coilover struts
Berg Style semi solid mid mount gear box mount
KYB rear gas shocks
Porsche Boxster 16" (6" and 7") wheels with Pirelli P7 tyres with spare Porsche wheel that fits wheel well
Correct 5 x 130 PCD rotors and drums. Uniform thickness - not drilled blank 4 bolts

Recaro seats on recaro base with VW tracks
