hi all would anyone know that if I bring a registered car from another state that is not in my name and I transfer into my name and want to put it on historic plates

do I need blue slip or pink slip is it easier or harder

you need proof of purchase and depending on the car if its modified you need blue and stock you need pink

Further to the above , you need to be paid up member of a club. I have a beetle which club woud you recommend in sydney. Thanks

it depends on which one suits you.
i looked in to it years ago and club vw would have me due to the car being modified and flat four would but i wasn't interested at the time.
this may have changed since then.

there are 2 types of historic redgo now in NSW

Modified redgo requires blue slip and current engineers certificate for the modifications and club membership
