Feedback on Bug Tech shifters

Hi I have a 68 Manxter with original engine & gearbox & am considering installing a Bug Tech shifter. Does anyone have any feedback on these shifters? They are quite expensive but look really nice & I have read some good reviews on them but not sure if other types of shifters are just as good.

Have a berg with a ball thanks to hellbugged, its been in many cars since because compared to a stock shifter is night and day.
and a bugtech, if its a buggy id be going the berg, the bugtech is VERY open to the elements unless its the newer style with the side plates and such closing it all in.
I like both, but the berg is more streetable?
Sides has the same bugtech in his hillclimber too, has loved it ever since it was given a little bending treatment - the originals didn't have bent shaft options.

replace the tunnel bush and the shifter coupling at the same time would be my advice, type 3 was like soup with a fork even with a good shifter.
