[FS - NSW] 1969 type3 Squareback - Unfinished Project

Due to a recent diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, I have decided to sell my type3 project.
Early shape, irs suspension, disc brake front and auto make it a desirable model.
All original except a respray sometime in the past, original colour savanna biege now white.

It was a complete running and driving car before I started a body off restoration.
Body in good condition except usual rust areas, front near brake master, front from water ingress via screen rubbers, front outer sills.
No rust in rear body
All outer panels good except its got late style rear wings and tail lights.

Floor pan very good except two holes under battery.
Front beam in great condition, New ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends.

Interior very good, brick red lowback seats, interior panels good except worn door cards.
All glass with good rubbers and chrome moulding except front screen but parts car has a good one.
Original set a of rear and side venetian louvre blinds primed ready to paint colour of your choice.

Engine ran fine before restoration started needs all fuel, vacuum lines updated.
I have a 1775cc stroker engine disassembled ready for rebuild with custom made heavy duty vw air-cooled engine stand included in price.
All parts bagged and tagged as I disassembled it.
Spent many hours cleaning refurbishing and painting parts ready for reassembly.

Also included in price 1973 late manual squareback as parts car.
This can supply inner and outer sills and other steel for rust repaires.
Floor pan is very good on this car was planning on selling it on after I finished the 1969. Red car in photos.

Has been in dry storage all the time except body, floor pan and parts car for last 6 months, made watertight, going back into dry storage next couple of weeks.

As you can see from photos it has been a labour of love for me and I want it to go to someone who will finish it.

I've tried to be honest about its condition but your need to see it to really appreciate the work done.

$6000 Negotiable
Email me for photos, my files are to big

Please call me as I won't answer any texts.
