Shocks for lowered 1959 Beetle

My lowered 1959 Beetle needs new shocks so I'm after recommendations please. I'd like shocks which are noticably firmer than stock but not bone-jarring racing.

The front is lowered with a ratchet front beam, currently with normal looking shocks, the shock length at rest is 295mm.

The rear is also lowered (not sure how the previous owner did it??) and currently has adjustable coil-over shocks, the shock length at rest is 315mm.

Thanks!

They look good for the front, thank you!

What should I do about the rear? I'd like to keep the ride height the same, presumably the coilovers affect the ride height?

Ride height on the rear is determined by the setting of the spring plates.

Ask Rod if he does a shorter rear shock
