type 1 headlight reflectors
has anyone had their headlight reflectors re-silvered lately? I had them done for my beetle nearly 30 years ago, but could do with a new touch...
(Sydney area or NSW central coast)
any tips for this would be greatly appreciated

They may have a new process or know of a place that does this
as the silver plating tends to tarnish over time

Years ago, I had some reflectors rhodium plated. It was better than silver plating.
Ask the platers for advice...
I'd rather wear a Beetle out by racing it than by polishing it!
