Off Road and a sway bar

A sway bar is designed to stop / minimise body roll. It does this by making both front arms move up or down togeather. This means when you go around a corner and the body starts to lean over compressing the inside arm the sway bare pulls down the out side arm and thus reduces body roll.
Now on an offroad vehicle you want to keep your wheels in contact with the ground as much as possible. By removing the sway bare you give your buggy more of an independay front suspension setup and it will handle much better off road. You will get increased body roll though.
The buggy will be much much smoother offroad without the sway bar.
ALSO : When you take it off, cut it to be about 2" shorter than you longest tie rod, then pull one tie rod end off and put the sway bar inside, this will stop her bending and make it much stronger. A must do mod, just ask Wes :D
