I got one of them years ago when they were legal from Truscotts in Croydon, but there closed down now.
I think you can sometimes get them on E.bay (you know what I mean)
I've also got a Scanner, which bores me shitless with Cop's doing License and car checks.
My ambition is to be pulled over in my Landcruiser, where I have the Scanner fitted and listen to my own history. hahahaha |

haha, mad!
Does the scanner detect what CB frequency they use or something?
I got talking to a mate of mine who reckons he can build a PC into my car. He said he can also check the frequency of radars and hide a device that
detects those frequencys.

They're doing their job that they get paid to do so they can have food and a roof.
You only get booked for speeding if you speed. If you play the game and get caught you cant really whinge about it.
Vics have it a bit rough with the 3kay thing, but up here in NSW if you dont look like you need a ticket you dont seem to get one when it comes to
mobile radars. Cameras are different, if you speed past one of those you just have to say cheese.
Cant really complain about fixed speed ones when they are signposted every 250 metres for a kilometre before hand. I would welcome one of those in my
street or the major roads around here. To many people die. Its like driving around in a florist with all the makeshift memorials. There would be one
for me too if I had of hit a telegraph pole instead of a fence.

some of your tales are funny.
i notice that it depends what part of oz your from makes a big differance to the speeding fine etc you get......... what a bumma dudes.
i've had a couple of little fines over here but the best ( or worst ) was doing 150mph on me bike past a unmarked copper.......... opps well i
never realised he was a copper eh. green bloody ford things Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
he was cool tho and i ended up with a 3 month ban and a £300 fine.
we work our points out differant to you lot as in we go up to 12 points then get banned while it seems you go down to zero?
never been pulled over in my split tho, don't think it goes fast enough

The bus is not coming on at the moment, i'm half way thro selling my little yellow 65' split so don't get time to start on the new
delux baby.
£300 is a lot but 150 mph in a 70mph area is a little over the speed limit :o
dunno when i'm moving over gotta finish the new van and make me some engish pounds ££££ before i come and live in the nice hot sunny place we
pomms all want to live in ( thats oz if your wondering )
definatly coming over 2005 and hope to be looking for work and stuff so then i can move for good.
hey jenz its ok driving here now cos the roads are that congested you'll be lucky to get over 30mph these days
got a big vw meeting this coming weekend, vanfest the coming together
of 100's of splits bays and any other vw
will post a few pics :P when i get back.
ps, anyone wanna buy a english split for loads of money???? its been welded absolutly everywhere
