chucking rocks at cars
This was the result of kids chucking rocks at cars the other evening. I was on a dual carriage way with barriers so I couldn't stop until much
further down the road, which was lucky for the kids - somebody could've been seriously hurt
I got a new windscreen fitted the next day for $190.
The rock hit on the passenger side, but a bit of glass fell out just in front of my face so fortunately I could see where I was going:
Another inch to the side and it would have bounced off the rubber:

That could've been nasty. I bet your underwear became a different colour after that. A couple of years ago a woman's car windscreen was shattered by a waterbomb thrown from a overhead bridge onto the
highway. This could've been much worse...

People have been killed being hit by rocks which is why overpasses are now being enclosed.
Running over them would be too good, they should be made come over to my place and strip the paint off my cars with a toothbrush sized steel brush and
then bog & sand. A bit of hard labor will get rid of the boredom. |

Fair dinkum! What sort of brain capacity do these PPL posses! when ever I hear about this sort of stupidity, I always think back to the Truck driver
who was killed as a result of this sort of behaviour, in western Sydney, it left three little children fatherless, a fate I can think nothing worse!
The authority's really have to start formulating some appropriate form of punishment, I think the age for taking responsibility for one's
actions should be lowered, in these current times, it would be a fair presumption to say that most children from the age of 7-9 know the difference
between right and wrong, upbringing and circumstances (peer group pressure, needing to conform, and place of residence) is in my opinion a cop out and
excuse, we have a brain capable of individual decision, and choise. PPL who participate in these sort of actions, as far as I am concerned, know
exactly what they are doing, weather or not they have considered what the outcome of their actions could bring, who knows! in most cases, I doubt
it.
I think the public, should do something about the ridiculously outdated and obsolete Westminster law system we have in this country and others, and
start using Common sense law, with appropriate punishment, untill this happens, crimes like this will continue to exist.

My old boss's boyfreind is in jail because he threw a rock at a car and the driver was killed instantly.
Things can turn out much worse than you predict with such a stupid prank.

It happened in Canberra. It was in Tuggeranong on Athlon Drive next to the lake (near the sk8 p4rk).
I've heard it's been happening in other places too, like on the Monaro Highway at the Fyshwick end.

That sucks.
There was a couple of people killed here a few years ago when kids threw rocks from above a freeway - the rock went through the windscreen and
instantly killed the driver.
I don't know what these morons are thinking. I hope the police find who did this and they get done for attempted murder.
