Transporting a beetle...???

Can someone help me with the cheapest car transport company, I remember seeing on here sometime ago a quote for $330 Sydney to Brissy, cant find it now.

Anyone know of cheap car carriers?

Maybe sending by rail they have a thing called boxcar. that might be a little cheaper than road.

jut be careful because quite often the cheaper yo go the more problems you have and they wornt insure you for anything.
I had a girlfriend who came down from QLD to Melb and went low budget and got her car back missing her steering wheel and two smashed headlights
So just be carefull.:)

Its registered, cheaper to freight it, a day off work, if not two (36hp, Goulburn to byron) $150-$200, train/airfare $100, petrol $100, food $50, and buggered for two days after, not to mention if i miss two days of good surf...

Now that i think about it...maybe that would work...
