I think thats volkswagen's 1Litre/km car. hence the L1 plate and WOB for wolfsburg
30 litre tank would get you 3000kays not too bad

Very neat:cool:

Maybe for the person who's not ready top make the move to a scooter for dread of rain and other weather elements?

Guess you can't park this in the footpath though?

saw this car a while back... i think its the coolest thing on wheels. I think its a 2 seater, old skool plane style.

just think, i could drive to my parents and back (200kms) on $1.80 worth of fuel. thats cheaper than me catching a bus to the city (2kms away)!!! absolute boon for travellers :D... not so good for the public transport system :(

i'll start working my butt off now so when and if they do come out i can get one ;)

Works great on a test track, but can you imagine driving that thing in Sydney traffic? Cabbies wouldn't even see you before they change lanes into you. Some days they can barely see my Kombi, let alone that little thing.

No good for driving girls around either, unless they sit on your lap while you drive...

I want one. Just the thing for the trip to work - 7kms of quiet, flat, country roads. :thumb

I really think it would work quite well for me, as long as I kept the kombi as a 2nd car.

phil74... up here in brisbane no-one looks before changing lanes into you.

actually, thats wrong, they look, see you are driving a vw and then change lanes into you on purpose. (possibly to show their elitness of vehicle over you... PFFFFT!)

really good idea for Europe, if it is raining, imagine how wet the interior gets when you are getting in & out of the vehicle:D

This was the car the good doctor drove to the factory on his last day of work, last year or the year before.
