Thanks Byronbus, just curious, not really in a position to buy, so don't stress on it.

single cab
The combo was here in Tassie for the 2002 Targa Tas with the single as support vehicle. The guys campaigning the mini had another truck for the
carrier but had problems with it and found the single on someones front lawn so bought it as a quick doer upper to transport the mini. They had
problems on the way from Sydney to Melb and gearbox probs in Tassie which were fixed by Andrew Robinson in Hobart. Very lucky to get it home from what
I hear, but gutsy project. volma1
They are still there, just have faith you'll find one.

Wouldn't a beetle fit up there?

I don't think a Beetle would fit up there. Early Kombi's and Beetles have a very similar wheelbase.

Didn't they advertise that a kombi is only 9 inches longer than a beetle? Then you'd end up with a fair bit hanging off the back.
I always wanted to get a fiat 500 (the bambino), cause I reckoned I could fit it in my kombi, and pull it out when I run out of fuel!
66 Beetle & 66 Austin 1800... makes for a very stylish footpath
