pan removal of 73 squareback


help needed

i am wanting to know are there any 'hidden' bolts that i need to know about when i remove the pan on my 73 squareback. at a quick glance i saw a number bolts around the perimeter of the pan and the bolts that attach the suspension to the body.

any info would be greatly appreciated

Yep theres hidden bolts.
Under back seat. If the rear suspension is still on the car then there will be some in the floor of the cargo area. My memory wont let loose information about the bolts across the front of the pan. They could be inside as well.

Yep theres hidden bolts...

6 x 13mm headed bolts under back seat

2 x 17mm head under plastic covers under seat near belt attach points

2 x 17mm head under cardboard section that lifts up in parcel tray area.

4 x 17mm head on bottom of floorpan near front firewall

2 x 15mm headed up in front of the front suspension beam

and the 13mm headed bolts down each side of the floor pan.

How do i know i just put one back together last weekend.

Put a jack under the side of body to break the seal to the floor before lifting as they stick licjk shit to a blanket after 35 or so years.
