Im Felling a bit stupid?

Can some on help me out, as I have a 1972 1302S and it's in the process of a resto (see link http://www.aussieveedubbers.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=4306  ) and as we all know they take time, as mine has.
any way here is the question, I have the steering column with the switches on BOTH sides and the plastic plugs in the dash to fill the old holes for the wipers and so on, but because this resto has taken soooooo loooong, I have forgotten what holes I need and what holes I want to get the panel beater to block up, so can any body please send me a photo of there dash with the same layout as mine, to help me work out what I need and don't need!

New pictures comming soon the "Just in case you where intersted" post!

Many thanks

Hi

The high one on the right is the wiper switch hole, the left is the headlight.

Under the radio hole is 2 holes these are for the ventilation knobs.

Then down the the bottom is 4 way flasher switch and on the other side is a blank hole, the ash tray is between these 2.

Good luck with your project.

Hello 1302Steve,

Many thanks for your reply, I should explained the problem better. The layout that you have described is the same as the on on my daily driver 1302S 1971 with the single switch on the steering column, the 1302S 1972 that I am restoring has the double switch as seen on the 1303's, but as it is an 1302 and has the flat steel dash and the switches aren't laid like the 1303 with the padded dash, so what I am guessing is that mine is an "change over model" (Im I making sense, as I Im re-reading this and getting confused myself!) Does any body have the same model as me double switch gear on the steering column and flat steel dash?
