Is this a Quick shift plate


im assuming i took this off of my 63 but i dont remember LOL

is this a quick shift plate? how do i install it?
if not WTF is is ?

they just look like standard shifter plates Adam.
The quick shift is in TWO parts..

1st a bracket the shape of the shifter plate but about 20mm high...

2nd another ball that mounts on top of the normal shifter rod ball.

These two pieces shift the leverage so the throw is much shorter.

VW Quickshift kit....

Here is a VW quickshift kit...
I had one in 1970.. still the same...
this is the only one I have ever seen...
maybe You have a different make ??
