Do any companies sell these in australia? or do ypu have to go O/S to buy them?

i think around the $500 mark, I had the front & rear torsion bars turned at the same time. I'll see if I can find the invoice.

They are $770 exchange from Custom Bugs & Busses, for 2 inch ball joint dropped spindles. They are on my Christmas List!

I'm in the process of upgrading my front end, and will have a second hand pair of king and link ones up for grabs soon, with disc brakes as
well.
The disc's are drilled for 4 x 130mm and 5 x 130mm vw and porsche alloy wheels.
Give me about 3 weeks or so, and I'll be advertising them online here.
Cheers,
Ian.

are drop spindles hard to fit? I want some for my KG. Two inches is a big drop, any problems with tyre rubbing?

Mine were fitted by CBB. They do widen the track a little, my tyres just rub the guards on full lock with 2 people in the car. This is on a Type 3
though, not sure what would happen with a Ghia.

Dropped Spindles on a T3
Why would you put dropped spindles on a Type 3? can't you just turn the torsions to drop the suspension front & rear?

The spindles keep a bit more suspension travel. A combination of spindles & a little turn of the bars gets you low without banging on the
bumpstops.
