Hi

It might seize without oil in that side, they are sought after by people wanting to use them for a power steering pump.

OIL PUMP info : standard pump

Here is a page from a workshop manual showing the pump etc.. I hope it comes out OK... You need a standard oil pump assembly complete... although the oil pump cover would probably be the same.
The semi auto is actually a double pump with engine oil on one side and auto transmission fluid on the other... the auto pump would just wear out very fast, without fluid running thru it all the time.
There are oil seals seperating the pumps.
I hope this is of some help..

standard Pump info...

Adam,
The pump You have is a double pump with Engine oil on the inner side and auto transmission fluid on the other side.
they are seperated by oil seals. You will need a complete oil pump assembly. I am trying to download some info for You...
If You used the double pump the auto transmission side would wear out very fast with no lubrication, and the oil seals would leak.... regards
Lee
