Dont bother unless you like in the out back where it is dry.
All they do is throw water in your car. Same effect achieved by driving with the window open with a wet hankie on your head.
If you live where there is any sort of humidity you will end up with mushrooms in the car
They DO look cool though!! :bounce

The swamp Cooler is a water cooler NOT an air conditioner. An Air Conditioner conditions the air, in that it takes all the moisture out of the air...
Water coolers add water to the air.... just like a swamp does..

it would work in tamworth, real dry air here. so it must be the same as evaporative cooling? my old man has that in his house works real good unless
like u said get a bit of humidity and that only happens just before it rains here, which is like never....

so its a water cooler, i thought it was an air cooler/conditioner? u know, changing the condition of the aire outside.......
so the water is cold when u get to your destination, now i understand !
WHO CARES the tech sh!t
they work by forcing air thru water covered straw that u rotate in the barrel by pulling a string.
they are pretty rare and cost more than a couple of months pocket money !
try and find one for sale, then check the price !
they suck for us as they were all made for left hand drive cars, they would block the drivers veiw here. look whack on our cars !
there was another company that made ones for us rhd cars (name?)
would still like one though
anyway, time for this bad mood to get soem zzzZZZzzzZZZzzz
