stainless braided fuelline


whats the deal with this stuff.I put it on no longer than 4 months ago and its splitting at the ends under utilux clamp just above dissy!!! :cussing Has anybody had this prblem too?

I used s/s braided fuel/oil lines with the engine upgrade but I used the aluminium fittings with no problems.

just make sure that when you cut it that you put some masking tape over the cut line, then use a fine hi-speed cutter ( i use a Dremel at 20~30000rpm) and there should be little fraying etc.. If you do it right it will be cool forever.

its just the rubber is splitting around radius of the hose (splits in directionof fuel flow):(
