I just dont like em there not as good quality as teh 60's one or 50's for taht matter, they have a few probs, sorry im a bit biased here but meh its my opionion:D

Lady is the name of my 1969 beetle and Red is the colour. I figured if I got a red one it would have even more grunt!

hehe, sounds good herbie :)

and dont worry about getting a collection because your son is buying an RX-7 :)
I have a STB 1300 I drive, plus another getting rotorised, plus my RX-7, and now my GF's beetle, and still her galant daily until we can sell it off :)

but apparently we are not rotorising the beetle, it will use too much fuel... so we (I) have plans for something fuel injected and aircooled ;)

good to see that the good ol vw's are still converting people. we have 2vw's and a mazda, and they are all still going strong!!!

heh.. I have never minded beetles, just never had one come up for the right price, and now the other half has one, I get to play
