All 'bay's' had solid discs, ~'70-'79.
Not sure about T3's if that's what you mean?

i thought around 76 they upgraded to bigger rotors and they where vented?

In late '75 the type of caliper was changed from Teves to Girling; this was a running change and the parts were interchangeable, but no change to the rotors, which continued as solids until '97.

Rhys,
Even the T3's are solid discs.
The late ones are smaller than the bay window ones, and they don't pull up as well as the bays either, a big step backwards by VW.

ok sorry ive confused everyone
im meaning between 68-79 no the caravelle's and stuff!!! sorry!!
i have been asked by my engineer to have vented discs and when talking to moody auto spares who do alot of engine conversions he said that he thought that 75-79 model kombi's had vented discs?
