tech websites?

hey can anybody direct me to some technical type website, with alot of BASIC aircooled info, preferably pics also, of what motors are in which cars, how a aircooled boxer is best assembled, what fits onto what, and just general aircooled VW engine info.

so far I can see the cae is the base of the motor, the barrels bolt to that, then the heads go on top, with pushrods in tubes underneath, I really want to find out what the differences are in cases and heads.

otherwise I will need to go annoy every VW shopp in adelaide, and any wreckers I can find with any aircooleds in them, and just waste alot of everybodys time :)

BTW I spent about 6 months after a car accidnet online learning much about rotaries, then about a day in wreckers looking around finding that if I use parts from about 6 different mazda models, I can bolt a rotor in my car with only minimal fabrication/modification. I will do this with VW's as well if i need to :)

http://www.aircooledtech.com
This site has a lot of good info including a full step by step engine rebuild and about 6 months of tech links. I would also recomend a book called How to keep your VW alive for the complete idiot by John Muir. I'm not sugesting anything about you with the book everyone has it.

lol, no offence whatsoever taken, I know dummies books are very basic, and I gotta start learning the basics first :)

thanks for that, hopefully this will turn into a full built up engine for the dub soon enough, well as soon as she fronts with the money ;)
