hello!! clutch related problems
i'm having a problem with t-1 1.3 clutch (180mm) when the clutch is engaged on first gear the car vibrates on low rpm's, i replaced the
pressure plate but still having the problem, it's defintly not from the tranny because it's a good one (for sure...)
what else could be the reason for this?
i have the 3 fingers pressure plate, how can i check wheter the pressure plate is in good shape or it's one that can cause this problem,
i've excpected to see broken springs or something but it looks pretty good, how can i decide wheter is good or needs a rebuild?

Do you mean when the clutch is fully engaged, or as you first engage the clutch?
Clutch shudders on engagement are generally caused by a warped flywheel or pressure plate.
A clutch that shudders when fully engaged would probably be out of balance. The flywheel and pressure plate should be balanced as a pair.
Also check for broken engine or tranny mounts.

Another possibility is the pilot bearing, if it's badly worn the clutch could grab slightly off center causing an out of balance.
Mind you, this should then happen in every gear.
Maybe the mounts as Col says??

2 words... "Bowden Tube".
Have you checked that you have the required deflection on the ol' Bowden Tube? It can make things pretty hairy on takeoff if it's wrong...

andy, it's not the pilot bearing because the problem is only on take off from 0kph, the problem is WHILE engaging the clutch, i've already
thought about the bowden tube , crawled under the car and let someone press and release the clutch a few times, there was no problem at all with it,
it looks on it's natural state without significent movements, however, i do suspect the flywheel and i think this will be the next point i'm
going to check, so how can i tell wheter the flywheel is out of balance and what tools require to rebalance it? i've heard about honing the
surface where the pressure plate bolts, is that right??

Yeah, sounds like you need the flywheel machined. It is as you say, they machine the friction surface flat. It would be worth taking your pressure
plate down as well and at least get them to check it.
It may be worth having the flywheel and pressure plate balanced also, although ideally you would do the crank and crank pulley at the same time.

The Bowden Tube being mal-adjusted creates just the symptom you're describing. Whether it moves or not is not important, it's whether it has
enough spacers to give it the right bend...
So, just to clarify, your Bowden Tube looks like this?
