flasher,,

:alien
flasher did not work in my 73 kombi either, it fixed itself, accidentially left the hazrd button on all night, woke up in the morning and (you guessed it) all the blinkers had fixed themselves (Kombi Gnomes?),
Is the connection a good one or is it loose ? found mine to be loose (prob from vibration), try borrowing a plug from a mate, or,,
let the Gnomes do there job (leave them a beer or two)

OHHH!!! it just triggered in my brain...it must be because of the safety mechanism. when the car is off, if i put the indicator lever left, the right side marking light comes on...and vice versa..
so..i think the flasher only works when the car is on..cus then the safety thing wouldnt work..
....i think thats righ anyway....
