A free set of steak knives...no more Shootout pics instead (116)!!
Hi all,
As usual I am late with my pics but hope you enjoy them anyway. As usual tried to capture as big a variety as I could. Sorry they are a bit dark, my
early digital isn't the best for indoor use and I don't have the time just at the moment to touch them up in Photoshop just now.
Hope you enjoy them anyway

Great Photos. Still kicking myself!! Stunning spoky wheels on that red car. What type was it?
OT: What the is it with this divisive noh2o crap? A dub is a dub and I feel that an organisation with a logo/ name like this only serves to
ostracise water cooled guys (and yes I read your little blurb on your siteabout waterbottlers, and its nonsense! ...could still get a look in...).
With the state of Clubs in Australia already so focussed on air cooled stuff, it doesnt help to have this nonsense going on!
Its about time dubbers worked together, not against each other. If I had that attitude, you would feel the same way! I think I mentioned this to you
guys when I was in Perth last November at the Fremantle show.
Oh, and dont forget which car SINGLE HANDEDLY saved VW from financial ruin in the 70's.....

SteveMK2 don't get your knickers in a twist mate ... look there is another GREAT VW club called H2O International and they deal only in H2O Volksys ... I am not a major participater in NoH20 i just like the sort of stuff
they get up to ... they have good events and some neat cars! With volksy clubs where do you draw the line, hell do you inclunde Lambo's in your
club ?!?!?
Does this mean that the Manx Buggy club is also being discriminatory, they are simply drawing a line in the sand, just like the Type2 club, or the
Thing club, or the Golf clubs that can all be found throught out the world.
NoH2o is obviously aimed at the older Volksies, sheesh these sorts of clubs exist everywhere, and hey with out the aircooled ones the H20 ones
wouldn't of been produced (just to continue your argument :P) Which might I add is a stupid and petty argument!

Hey, I appreciate your sentiment, but I feel the name and logo is pretty excluding in an aggressive kind of way. I dont have a problem with a club for
older VWs, I have a problem with the way it is marketed cos it makes you all sound like you think watercooled vws are abominations. (I have met people
with attitudes like this) I got the impression when I was talking to members at their show last year, that they harboured similar sentiments. Whether
this was simply bravado..........
I would never start or participate in a club that had a name which was aggressively excluding aircooled dubs, is all.
Fair point on the one without the other arguement.
As for the spoked wire wheels on the splitty, I figured out which car it was after I posted. I love wires.... I wish more older dubs had wires.
Thanks.
