tinware washers


has anyone used copper washers on tinware to prevent ware on tin and case?watya reckon?



if its a kombi and its going too slow, just relax its having a go!

You dont need to do that as if the screws are tight in the first place they wont moove. Just check tighten them and or clean the dirt from under the washer as well.

Ive used Stainless washer but just for looks they come up nice.
yes most engine have the guts flogged out of them over the years the lower tinware screws seam to get the most damage from being loose.
