What do ya think

Finished my extra VDO gauges for the Oval's Rally Pack this week.
Pointers all painted the same colour, bezels re-chromed and matched.
Only thing still to do is get the Tacho going.

What do you think.
I reckon it's come up sweet. But thats just me. :D

Thank guys. Getting the tach going is still a bit of a challenge cause its mechanical not electric. Runs off a cable. But I will work it out some how.

Re - Chromeing was done by Vinnies in Dandenong Vic. Nice work. Rechroming a gauge bezel was $15.00.

Thanks for the info Pete, yur a legend. I knew it must be possible. And thanks to big brother Porshe it is. Will the oil pump off a Porshe motor fit straight on a VW 1600?? Looks like it the same thing to me. How hard is it to get these bits?
I'm feeling all Big Kev about the prospect of getting this Tacho going. :thumb

Cheers Pete, will the pump fit on a 1600VW?

The cable link won't work. Will try again later.
