That is a good diagram Brad, it looks like it uses the same fuses as the beetles do... and VW switches..
I rewired My Sons girlfriends Baja 69 beetle and they wanted toggle switches in the dash, so thats what they have, no VW switches at all, apart from
ignition & blinkers & horn....
I thought many buggies would use toggle switches Brad ... as You can get the rubber covers for them so they are water proof too..
I have a few small toggles with the rubber caps under My dash.. with some telltale small lamps in the dash...
so You know when the electric fuel pump is turned off...
Green light is On, and the engine can be started...
No green light.. No start...

no switch you mention is water proof, they all have the same weak spot which is the back of them, thsi makes then suck in a bauugy / baja.
I use VW switches as I have found them to be the best. I use kombi ones most of the time as they are easier to get
