Hey, great to hear sooty!!!
So your back terrorising the streets again! Lets hope all the troubles are behind you now.
I too am working on a new motor for Andy, but I have the luxury of a spare moter. Just picked the wrong time of year to do it, every ones in holiday
mode.
Hope to see you on the road soon!!

I too had my kombi off the road for three months during its engine rebuild, and I can't describe the kind of withdrawal pain I had to suffer. I
did have the use of Heather's nice 68 bug during that time, but it just wasn't the same!!

Unfortunately my hubby is under the misguided impression that it's a x-mas party for all his mates!!!!
would be interesting to watch our friends cope with a group of vw lovers (they have enough trouble coping with me!!)
sounds like a great idea for after x-mas tho....will have a think about it.
Not sure that my yard is big enough, but all the vw's would annoy the neighbours (they hate our street being blocked by parked cars....called the council on me once)
