Hey Rhys,
They are one cool bike dude! Try the local wreckers or dump!! There's HEAPS of them about (largest sale for any single model motor cycle in Aust.), and a donor bottom end should be easy to source. Like most things it's probably cheaper to buy and old complete one some where instead.

They are quite robust due to their meager output, so any old one given the once over should give reliable service.

Good luck in the hunt.

Your not lucky enough to have one of the older ones with dual range GB??

I've got one sitting up the back . I'll try and remember to ask my brother about it . He left it there a couple of years ago.

I got a honda CT185 bottom end sitting around. Yeah 110cc wasn't enough for me, I went for the big brother, the CT185.

I got used to the HP and then put a XR185 cam in it, it felt fast. yeah those were the days. :D

PS - I'm still in the honda family with my current NX650. It's my parts pick-up vehicle while my Baja is still in pieces. :(

oh man, i have an uncle who lives on a farm just outside of Albury who has plenty of CT110s... all in varying states of disrepair.

as one dies, he goes and buys another. he must have 6 or 7 of them leaning against each other, each one that little more faded and rat looking than the one on front of it. its damn funny to look at.

If you're real keen, and anywhere near albury i'll try to find a phone number...

I been wanting to get one for years. What have you got to look out for? The prices seem to vary a lot... you'll see one in vgc, low kms, rwc, etc for $900 and then one that sounds exactly the same for $1500.

Generally are you pretty safe getting a late '90s one for under $1k? Anything you should look out for?
