I dont think any Aussie VW ever had a KLms speedo fitted as far as i know.
Some one ?? not sure if it was VW or not made a stick one decal for the face of teh speedo, you had to remove the glass and instal it, and there was
also another decal that stuck to the outside of the glass making the conversion easier.
Will keep my eyes open for yar,.

kmh speedo
If my memory serves me correctly Micks Motors sells the stick on kmh things.
Plus how do you actually remove the glass from the speedo without wrecking the rim? There must be a tool or secret to this!

its actually pretty easy with a blunt knife, the rim is only lightly crimped on the back and comes off pretty easy.

74L
i don't know about other bugs.... but i know that my 74L has a km/h speedo.. either that or i have been driving around city streets at 60mph
rather than 60 km/h...
i'm pretty sure it's km/h - but the mph WOULD explain the speeding fines and lack of all points bar 1.

All Aussie speedos were in Km/h from 1974.
