Heaps of OLD STUFF

I've just spent four days up in the N/S/W OUT BACK. And I have never seen so many old cars, Kombi's and Beetles included laying around on farms. But then again you can drive for a hour and only pass one live car on the road. My brother is going to see a bloke about an old oval next week. :)

Nah just Bay windows one was a 68 and I'm not sure about the other Kombi. If I kept looking I'm sure there would be a Splitty some where. There is just so much crap out there. Old Trucks, old Tractors, old Cranes, old Holden's like FJ looking, early Falcons from the 60's some Beetles and a XC Falcon Cobra Coupe that my Brother is watching.
There is just so much scrap metal out there. :)

Seeing as I live in the NSW bush, whereabouts "Outback" did you go?

Yeah I told my Brother that.
They have gone Road Warrior mad in a America, my Brother has been looking for a Cobra for years. He couldn't understand why there isn't any Coupes around.
Goes to show if it isn't our VW's it's our Falcons going over Seas.
On the up side there seems to be a lot of Mustangs around in Australia.

My Brother has spoken to the Bloke about it, and he has to speak to his Son who lives in Sydney. So now my Brother is waiting for a call. Also hopefully on Thursday he will speak to the Bloke who has the Oval OTHER WISE I WILL HAVE TO GO UP THERE AND BEAT MY LITTLE BROTHER UP. :)

Not very specific, but I assume that you went through Broken Hill as the Nth West corner is not somewhere that you can do 160kmh unless your set up for the Paris-Dakar.

and i just bumped into a couple who have just inhereted a 66 from a relative that owned it since new. they have just come back from a trip out west. while on their trip they came across a beetle on a farm. they knocked on the door to enquire and were told 'you can go for your lives'. so out came the tool box and they stripped all the bits they needed.... no cost.

i asked if they were going back to collect the rest... dont know if they are.
